The AMB will exhibit its metropolitan projects alongside 80 other cities and metropolitan areas
For the second year in a row, the AMB will have its own stand at the Seoul Biennale of Architecture and Urbanism where it will present its metropolitan projects. It will also take part alongside the Government of Catalonia in the Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia's IAAC. stand on big data and urbanism. Visitors will have the opportunity to see and learn about the reality of the metropolis of Barcelona until 10 November, in which time more than half a million people are expected to attend.
Collective City | Cities Exhibition
The metropolitan agency's exhibition will feature some of the metropolitan projects currently being implemented in the areas of public space, green infrastructure, urban planning, housing and sustainable mobility. The most relevant projects that visitors will have a chance to see are:
- Llobregat River Park (several municipalities).
- Solidarity Park (Esplugues de Llobregat).
- Seafront promenade (Castelldefels).
- Cycling path (Barcelona/Esplugues de Llobregat).
- Els Encants School (Barcelona).
- CINEMA PISA housing development (Cornellà de Llobregat).
As for the stand shared with the IAAC and the Government of Catalonia, visitors will find a number of contemporary examples that reflect how the use of information and data influence the way in which cities around the world are designed and managed. The data used by the AMB to draft the Urban Development Plan will be reflected in various panels on Urban Big Data.
