Badia del Vallès is a town of Vallès Occidental county, which borders with Cerdanyola del Vallès, Barberà del Vallès and Sabadell. It is one of the most densily populated municipalities and one of the youngest in Catalonia. Formerly, the area was known as Ciutat Badia.
